Regional CoordinatorVisionary Broadband seeks a qualified individual to fulfill the role of Regional Coordinator. This full time, salaried position will join the Fiber team at Visionary Broadband, a division of Visionary Communications, Inc., one of the top service providers in the region. This position will be based out of Casper or Cheyenne Wyoming.Job Overview:

• As the Regional Coordinator, you will work closely with Visionary's Fiber Construction, Engineering and Installation teams to manage all work within this major market. This includes, but is not limited to, being the go-to person within the market if there are questions, creating the local market sales approach, being the boots on the ground coordinator if questions arise, and being the person that tracks and leads the customer adoption rates within this market.
• A candidate must have experience with fiber underground and aerial construction and methodologies, including NESC code, local, state, and federal construction code, and best-practices for fiber construction. A strong candidate will bring project experience, competitive awareness, the ability to "unstick" problems quickly and knowledge of existing network to this community. This person will be the glue that holds the team together as major changes need made, and will watch for trends and changes within the market. Qualifications:A qualified candidate must possess the following skills, or have equivalent experience and/or qualifications:
  • 3 years or more of fiber optic construction and/or engineering experience, with an emphasis on underground and aerial placement and methodologies and fiber to the premise installation
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent organizational skills and must be detail oriented.
  • Good knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications, as well as ability to quickly learn and work within proprietary computer applications.
  • Flexibility to work outside of standard 8am-5pm hours and be willing to travel to job sites within Visionary territory.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with demonstrated problem solving abilitiesPhysical Requirements:This position requires sitting to complete work with a computer using a variety of software & GIS applications and telephone.50%+ / - of the time will be spent walking and standing in the field with various weather conditions, as well as occasional lifting and / or carrying and / or pushing / pulling of items less than 50lbs. Visual and audio acuity is essential to this position.
