Department Summary
The Customer Retention Department blends marketing, operations,
strategy, and analytics. Within Video Services, this team is highly
visible to the Executive Leadership and drives initiatives to
retain and monetize DISH's customer base, including DISH and Sling
brands. Our mission is to enhance customer loyalty by improving
their experience and engagement.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
A Marketing Program Manager at DISH oversees customer
communications across various channels such as web, email, print,
TV, and video, ensuring that offers and commitments are effectively
conveyed to enhance perceived value. They collaborate with
networks, producers, and talent to develop large-scale marketing
campaigns that strengthen the brand's value proposition.
Additionally, they work closely with analytics and operations teams
to implement strategies that improve customer engagement and
retention. - - -Key Responsibilities:Evaluate and shape the
end-to-end customer journey for our Sling OTT product, identifying
opportunities for customers to love usAnalyze the effectiveness of
current retention tactics, recommend changes for continuous
improvement, and optimize future performanceDissect data and
leverage customer insights to identify effective and ineffective
retention strategies, informing the team and the wider business on
improvement opportunitiesLead cross-functional projects, develop
implementation strategies, secure alignment with key
decision-makers, meet crucial deadlines, and ensure successful
market launchesProvide sound recommendations to company executives,
including weekly presentations to the business group SVP
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and - Experience:Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a
four-year college or university; or a degree in Business,
Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or EngineeringThree or more years
of experience in finance, project, or strategy rolesOver two years
of experience in building financial models, forecasts, and dynamic
reportsAt least one year managing complex cross-functional
projects, overcoming operational hurdles, and driving initiatives
forward -Skills and Qualifications:Deep understanding of customer
experience principles and the ability to develop strategies that
enhance customer satisfaction and loyaltyExceptional analytical and
creative problem-solving skills, turning data into actionable
insightsProactive and innovative mindset, constantly developing new
ideas and strategies for customer retention and business
growthProven ability to lead and manage complex projects, ensuring
successful implementation and alignment with business
objectivesProficient in preparing and delivering engaging
presentations tailored to specific audiencesExcellent written and
verbal communication skills, attention to detail and exceptional
organizational skillsAdaptable in fast-paced, ambiguous
environments, quickly adjusting to changing prioritiesCollaborative

Salary Ranges
Compensation: $72,350.00/Year - $103,400.00/Year
