Job Description US CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED At the Manufacturing
Center (AMC) in Westminster, CO, we develop and manufacture state
of the art tactical technologies including stealth antennas,
electronic warfare platforms, electro-optical laser imaging, and
phased arrays. Technological developments are driving rapid
expansion of our manufacturing capabilities to support growing
customer demands. If you'd like to join our growing manufacturing

an ideal role for you! In this role, you will machine prototype
parts that go into state-of-the-art military, space, and tactical
equipment. The role is hands-on, technically challenging, and
allows you to contribute to impactful projects with exciting
missions. Working alongside highly skilled people including
engineers and technicians where there is space to learn and grow.
This position will lead and support the machine shop working
primarily with 3-Axis Mills on aluminum, composites, and high
temperature alloys.The Operations Strategic Capabilities Unit plays
a fundamental role in enabling efficient business and program
execution - from strategic capital investments, industrial
operations and an efficient supply chain, to state-of-the-art
manufacturing and test operations and top-notch facilities
management.What You'll Do:
- Support all machining operations in a prototype
environment.
- Apply advanced knowledge and skills in area of machining. May
adapt procedures, techniques, tools, materials, and/or equipment to
meet special needs. Substantial level of competencies in one or
more areas of specialization.
- Setup and operate vertical milling machines to mill, drill,
bore, precision parts with basic setups to (less than 0.001)
tolerances.
- Capable of using programming software (Master CAM) to support
the operation of CNC machines.
- Design and fabricate basic holding fixtures.
- Make suggestions relating to the machining, fabrication, and
assembly to perform the most intricate machining and
assemblies.
- Remain flexible to support machine shop execution for critical
programs.
- Use basic inspection equipment to check parts per ANSI
Y14.5.
- Review and interpret electronic build documents for machining
requirements.
- Maintain required electronic build records and process logs,
records, and reports in accordance with company policies/procedures
and government regulations.
- May make suggestions relating to the machining and fabrication
of intricate complex hardware.
- May develop feed and speed information for new materials and
new types of cutting tools.
- Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships within
the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic
Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with
others in order to maintain a positive and productive work
environment.
- Perform other duties as necessary.On-Site Work Environment:
This position requires regular in-person engagement by working
on-site five days each normally scheduled week in the primary work
location. Travel and local commute between company campuses and
other possible non-company locations may be required.Working
Conditions:
- Work is performed in an office environment, laboratory,
cleanroom, or production floor. Hourly Rate: $28.13 -
$37.98#LI-JL2Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 or more years of
related experience or a two-year technical degree and 4 or more
years' experience.
- Each higher-level related degree, i.e., Bachelor's or Master's,
may substitute for two years of related experience. Degree must be
from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an
agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department
of Education.
- A DoD Interim Secret clearance will be required to start work
and required to be maintained to continue work. Higher level
clearance or access with Polygraph is not required to be eligible
for this position. However, the applicant must be willing and
eligible for submission, depending on program requirements, after
an offer is accepted and must be able to maintain the applicable
clearance/access.
- Ability to function in a team environment interfacing
effectively with both customers and teammates from different
disciplines.Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- 6 years or more experience with machine shop equipment
including 2 axis CNC milling machines and tool room lathe
preferred.Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $58500 -
$79000Please note: This range is based on our market pay
structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a
variety of factors including, but not limited to: business
considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as
well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and
